Juniors Learn About Healthy Eating!

The Junior learning community has been inquiring into how their body works and that they have some autonomy in making choices to keep their body safe and healthy. They investigated food that helps fuel their bodies. As part of this investigation they tasted different types of fruits and vegetables. Learners were given opportunities to taste fruit and vegetables they may not have tried before and have a shared experience with their peers. The watermelon was a very popular choice among learners especially because it was actually grown  in our school kitchen garden by learners with the support of kitchen garden teacher Luke.
