On Thursday, 27th of February, eighteen children from the Middle and Senior Communities represented St James at the Tarneit District Championships, held at Werribee outdoor pool. All of the children were excited and eager to compete, with a few nerves thrown in as well. As a team they performed superbly. Whether it was an individual race or a team relay, every swimmer gave their all. Of the nine schools competing today, St James finished in third place. What a wonderful effort. Many thanks to Mosese (Senior teacher) for helping out on the day.
We will soon be able to announce who has qualified to swim at the Divisions Championships, to be held on Thursday March 6th.
